About Philly’s friendliest local game shop!
The Philly Game Shop was established in 2019 with the goal of creating the world’s coziest & most inclusive tabletop game shop. At PGS, we believe that tabletop gaming is for everyone and our space reflects that value. Through thoughtful cultivation of an inclusive gaming culture, we have built a community that is friendly, welcoming, & always kind. We are so honored to serve our wonderful community & we look forward to being a premier gaming and community center for Philadelphia for all for years to come.
We specialize in tabletop board and card games, RPGs, indie and local-made games, and locally designed geeky gifts. In July 2023, we moved into the larger building next to our original store—tripling our seating, more than doubling our space, and growing the community that much more. We have also gotten some excellent local coverage since we opened!

“Tabletop gaming is for everyone! We're working toward that ideal by building a more inclusive gaming community in Philadelphia.”
